A transformation was taking forth in front of his very eyes. For a split second, Leo was terrified this was a monster, and he didn’t exactly come prepare for a fight.
Fear washed over his once cocky expression as he stared up in horror at the beast before him. Fear which makes one do the irrational and think of the worst scenarios. Fear which captured the demigod in this moment.
So of course, Leo’s brilliant mind didn’t make the connection that this man before him was actually a
g o d.
Therefore, what was this boy’s initial reaction? The logical action he deemed fit to take?
Throw a screwdriver aimed right at his head, courtesy of his magic tool belt.
“Holy Hephaestus! What areyou?!”
Something dense hit his forehead–what the hell was that? A stylus?– and Anubis stood there for a moment, his head turned up to the sky.
“Why me, Ra?” he mumbled, knowing full well that the sun god would not answer. “Why do I always get the crazy ones?”
'Holy Hephaestus’ is what the boy had cried out. Well, he certainly was Greek. No doubt about it now.
